Sergej Kononenko
Biography

Kononenko Sergey Alexandrovich (height 185 cm.) Was born in the city of St. Petersburg, February 6, 1981. He entered the Russian Ballet Academy in 1991, graduated in 1999. During his studies in junior classes he performed pas de trois from the ballet The Nutcracker and several other solo parts. In the senior classes under the guidance of teachers N.M. Dudinskaya, L.A. Kunakova, I.B. Zubkovskaya, and artistic director of the Academy of Russian Ballet Vaganova - I.D. Belsky were prepared and performed: the Prince's party in the ballet The Nutcracker, Pierrot's party in the ballet The Fairy of Dolls, the grand pas from the ballet Don Quixote, the pas de deux from the ballet Coppelia, the pas de deux from the ballet "Corsair", the pas de deux of Diana and Actaeon from the ballet "Esmeralda", the classical pas de deux of George Balanchine. In 1999 he was accepted into the ballet troupe of the Mariinsky Theater (Kirov Ballet).

 

In 2006, he was at the international prize "Franca Bartolomei", Italy, Rieti.

Сoncert tours

In 2000 he was invited to the gala concert "Ascension to Fujiyama" in Moscow. He performed the pas de deux of George Balanchine.

In 2003 he was invited to Bulgaria, Sofia to the Gala Concert. He performed the part of Basil, the grand prix from the ballet Don Quixote.

Projects

In 2004 he worked as a model for the magazine «VOGUE».

In 2005 he was invited to the film studio «Lenfilm», for the shooting of the film «Soldiers of the Fatherland». The film was shown at the Venice Film Festival. In the film, the substitute of the main character - Lyony (Danila Kozlovsky) played.

Ballet "Don Quixote".
In 2017, specially for the St. Petersburg Theater "Russian Ballet", moved in the original choreographic version (A. Gorsky, M. Petipa) ballet "Don Quixote". He worked as a choreographer and teacher-coach.
